Here are some questions that we've been asked regarding How To Buy The SleepPhones System. If your purchasing question is not answered here, please email customerservice@sleepphones.com.

Can I pay you by PayPal?
Yes! You can just "send payment" directly to admin@acousticsheep.com and let us know what color, size, and extras you would like in the comments section. After payment, PayPal will send us an email to notify us of a new order, and the order will be processed in the same way as we process all orders. Be sure to include the standard shipping charge of $5.00.

PayPal will have your registered address, but if you want us to send the SleepPhones to a different address, please let us know in the comments section as well.

Can I pay by check or money order?
Yes! It will obviously be a little bit slower because we will need to receive the payment by mail before we can process your order. US dollar only please – we cannot accept international checks.

Write on a small piece of paper the size, color, any extras, and the shipping address to place your order. Be sure to include the standard shipping charge of $5.00. Mail everything to the following address:

Do you ship overseas?
Yes! We frequently ship overseas and have sent packages to every continent except Antarctica. The shipping charge is still the flat rate of $5. It may take 1-4 weeks, depending on where you live. Most of the time, you can expect to receive a package in 1-2 weeks.

I can’t seem to get the website working to place an order.
Occasionally Google Checkout does not work for certain people. We are not sure why this is. If this is the case, we would be glad to accept PayPal or any other method of payment as described above.

Would it be possible to place my order by telephone?
Unfortunately, we are too small and are unable to take phone orders. We use third-party credit card processing services at this time. We can take PayPal if you would prefer to use that instead of Google Checkout. We also sell on Amazon.com and can take personal checks.

Can you process my credit card?
We're a small company and do not have a credit card processing system yet.

Do you have a location in my city that I could purchase your product?
Currently we are only in one physical store in State College, PA, USA. You can buy SleepPhones at Tadpole Crossing located on 101 E. Beaver Ave, State College, PA 16801.

How much to buy just the headphones?
If you would likely only the headphones (no instructions, CD, or lavender), then please use PayPal to send payment to admin@acousticsheep.com for $57.00 (shipping included).

I'm interested in getting a pair of Sleepphones, but I wear a hat size 7 7/8 (nearly an 8) and was wondering if it is possible to order an "XXL" size in Sleepphones.
Yes, we can make you an XXL. If you place an order for an XL and then send customerservice@sleepphones.com a reminder, we'll be sure to get the right size to you.

On the order page, you suggest that if one wants to use them as eye blinds, to order a size smaller. Does that mean one of your sizes or hat size? In other words, I wear a 7 and 1/2 hat size (it is a Tilly Hat which is a Canadian hat, but I think that is USA hat size). So does that mean, I just go down one hat size (i.e. 7 & 1/4) or one full size of yours (i.e. medium)?
If you wear a size 7 1/2 in hats, then you would normally order a large. But since you plan to wear it over your eyes, then you would order a medium. They are somewhat stretchy, so you could wear it both ways.

Is small adult small or kid sized?
The sizing is for adults only. We don't recommend use of SleepPhones for young children.

How do I figure out what size to buy?

I am having a huge amount of trouble trying to buy your headphones. All I can seem to manage to do is multiply how many are added to my cart. I'm up to 9 now and I only want 1.
When looking in your shopping cart, is there a checkbox on the left that is labeled remove? If so, click on it for all of the ones you want removed. Then click Update cart. That should remove everything you don't want. Then when you have what you want, click on the Google Checkout button, which is below the Update cart button. That should take you to a Google page where you can finish the checkout process. If Google Checkout is causing problems, then you can also use PayPal, check, or money order as described at the top of the page. How long does it take for an order to reach Australia (or Canada or the UK)?
Typically, orders sent overseas arrive by first class mail within 1-2 weeks, but we cannot guarantee that. This is what the USPS website says:

Priority Mail® International 6 - 10 Days
First-Class Mail® International Varies

I have not received any of your emails regarding my recent order. When do you send the emails?
Since we use Google Checkout, you should get an email from Google immediately. When we process and ship your order (usually within 1-3 days), Google Checkout will send you another email with your order tracking information. If you have an email spam blocker, please add noreply@checkout.google.com and customerservice@sleepphones.com to your address book. Please let us know if you need us to re-send any emails.

I live in the US, and it's been more than 10 business days since my order. Can you give me an update?
Uh-oh! Most US customers will receive their orders within 7 business days. If you have received an email with a tracking number, you can check to see if it's still in transit. If you have not received any emails, you may need to look in your spam or junk mail folder for emails from us or from Google Checkout. Occasionally, payment may be declined by Google Checkout due to a typo. Google checkout may also need to match the zip code or CVV on a credit card. Google Checkout cancels an order if the required information is not in their system within 3 days. If your order was canceled, you would need to place another order. If Google Checkout does not cooperate, we can also take PayPal, check, or money order. If it's unclear what has happened to your order, we can certainly help you find out!
